Dart Leagues - General Rules of Electronic Darting

  • Players stand at the "throw" line, 96 inches from the face of the dartboard. Players may step on the line but not beyond the front edge of the line. However, it is legal to lean over the line.
  • Dart specifications are as follows:
    A. They must be plastic dart tips.
    B.  Darts must not exceed 8 inches in length.
    C. Flights must not be any wider than 3/4" from the shaft to the flight edge and may not have more than four wings.
    D. Complete darts may not exceed 20 grams in weight.
  • Each player throws a maximum of three darts per turn.  Darts must be thrown only when the proper player number and the "throw darts" are lit.
  • It is not required that a player throw all three darts every turn.  A player may pass or throw less than three darts.
  • Any dart thrown counts as a throw, whether or not it is registered on the machine. A player may not throw darts over again. However, dropped darts may be thrown again.
